Bird Player Model Texture Development



As a team, we decided to have a low-poly art style for the bird 
textures that is consistent with the low-poly bird models.

The texture designs stay true to the birds iconic features, with an 
enhanced hue to give the aesthetic a more vibrant, colourful look 
that stands out and draws attention.

I used Blender to create the textures, painting directly onto the models and UV maps.
- Then I used the PolyGen App to apply the polygon effect to the texture image, which turned out quite well, a few minor things need to be changed but the overall outcome is sufficient.

Texturing

WIP Texturing




I was assigned with the task of texturing the bird models. Starting with the hawk, I have applied basic block colours to the UV map of the model and I am currently in the process of adding additional details. I have been testing different iterations, however, I have yet come to a final design I am happy with.

This task has required me to become more competent with the following software and their tools:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Blender
